Did you ever want to just sit at your wheel and spin while chatting with like-minded folks? Well we are offering the Third Sunday afternoon from 1-4 p.m. of each month to just sit and spin! Bring a loom and have a great afternoon of conversation and spinning. There is NO CHARGE for this delightful afternoon The Plaid Sheep Yarn Shop will supply coffee you supply the conversation! Please call and let us know you are coming so we can have enough chairs for everyone.
 
Knitting Class
This class will take the student from not knowing anything about knitting to saying "I CAN KNIT!" The class is on Tuesday night from 6:30-8:30. This class will take you through casting on, binding off as well as many of the basic stitches. Plus we will work with you on mantaining an even tension and much more! Need a refresher? Stop in during the class and brush up with us.  Class fee is 10.00 an evening plus the cost of your supplies. This class is for adults only!
 
Learn a Stitch Class
Starting in November we will have a Knitting Stitch Class. One stitch a week will be taught so if you ever wanted to learn new knitting stitches but couldn't quite get the directions right come and join us.There will be 365 different stitches! 

Beginning Knitting Class for Children
Every Saturday afternoon from noon till 2 p.m. This class is especially designed for the younger student in mind. Special needles for children and patterns that the younger knitter will enjoy. Class fee is 10.00 per week plus the cost of supplies. A basic knitting kit for this class is avaliable for 25.00
Homeschoolers Fiber Class
This class is every Tuesday afternoon from 1-3p.m. This class will cover all different fiber techniques including but not limited too: weaving, knitting, needled felting, kumihino, 
braiding and dyeing. This series of classes will run for 8 weeks at the cost of 50.00 per
 series with a discount for multiple children in the same family.  All materials are included
 in this class. If the parent and child wish to purchase their own materials such as knitting
 needles, small hand looms etc there is a basic material kit for this class avaliable for 25.00.  
 
Needle Felting                                                                                                                         
Learn to embellish all of your creative designs with just some fiber and a barbed needle.
Needle felting is a fast and fun way to embellish all different type of projects. class fee is
 25.00 plus supplies
 
Weaving Class
This class will take the student through the basics of weaving...Planning the project, 
learning to warp a loom, weaving and finishing the project.All supplies are included in 
the class fee!  and runs six weeks  class fee is 175.00 plus the cost of the yarn for your
 final project
 
Knitting Loom
This enjoyable class will take you through the basics of knitting on a round loom that have
 been around for years! Check your attic and your closets maybe you have one that you
just never figured out how to use it.  This class runs at the the same time as the regular
 knitting class does.  Come and joing the fun! 10.00 plus materials

Crochet Classes Beginning crochet classes will be held  at 7 p.m. Every Thursday evening from 7-8 p.m.  This class will take you through all of the basic stitches, teach you how to mantain an even tension and much more! 10.00 per class plus cost of the supplies
 
Inkle Weaving  The Inkle loom is a useful tool for producing strips or bands of Handwoven warp faced cloth or ribbon. These narrow strips are used as belts, headbands, bag handles, or straps to tie and support things. When sewn together, the strips maybe turned into bags or vests! These strips are used aesthetically to decorate cloth.
